Pumpkin Cannon

One of the most popular activities at our pumpkin farm, the Pumpkin Cannon gives you the chance to fire pumpkins across our Halloween target range. Line up your shot, take aim at one of the familiar characters and see whether you can hit the target. It’s loud, messy and a brilliant addition to a day of pumpkin picking in Essex.

How Does the Pumpkin Cannon Work?

Our Pumpkin Cannon is a pay-as-you-go activity, so there’s no need to add it to your admission ticket in advance. Simply head over to the cannon during your visit, choose how many shots you want and get ready to fire.

Shots cost £2.50 each or three shots for £7, making it easy to have one go or challenge your friends and family to see who has the best aim.

Please note that children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult, while children under six are not permitted to fire the cannon.

When Can I Use the Pumpkin Cannon?

The Pumpkin Cannon is available day and night during our pumpkin picking experience and is one of several additional activities you can enjoy while visiting Hatter’s Farm.

The cannon closes one hour after the final arrival slot of the day, so we recommend heading over before the end of your visit if you want to give it a go.
