Pumpkin Picking at Hatters Farm

his year we have grown thousands of pumpkins and squash at our pumpkin patches near Chelmsford for you to come and choose from, and find the ideal pumpkin for your pumpkin carving fun this Halloween. We have over 50 amazing varieties to choose from, whether you like knobbly, giant, tiny, or colourful pumpkins we are sure to have them all. Our pumpkins and squashes vary in price, from £1 for our smallest up to £12 for our whoppers. You will be able to wander around our farm and take your pick from our huge variety of amazing pumpkins and squashes.

We are open for daytime pumpkin picking Chelmsford, as well as our Pumpkin Nights - if you’d like to come along for a spooky atmospheric evening at our farm and soak up the moonlight sky. Our twilight pumpkin evenings are the perfect spooky event for you and the family, where you can wander around our farm near Chelmsford in the eerie dark and pick your favourite pumpkins. Our Pumpkin Nights are the absolutely perfect Halloween-themed evening out, that the entire family can enjoy.

As well as our day-time pumpkin picking and our Pumpkin Nights, we have a range of other fun and spooky activities for you and the kids to take part in. Our Maize Maze is spread over 7 acres and is full of all sorts of fun twists and turns to keep you entertained. There is also a mini-game to play in our Maize Maze, where you will get the chance to enter our competitions. Whilst our pumpkin cannon fires pumpkins at our Halloween target range.

There are plenty of other fun things to keep the entire family entertained at no extra cost, such as our Hay Bale Maze and loads of spooky photo opportunities. You can also enjoy our free nature trail around our pumpkin picking in Essex. We also offer food and refreshments to enjoy at our pumpkin picking patch too.

If you’d like to book your tickets to visit our pumpkin picking in Essex this Halloween, visit our website today. We recommend you book your tickets as early as possible as they sell out quickly, so get your hands on yours quickly. Our tickets cost £1 per person (plus a small booking fee), and once you have arrived you are welcome to stay for up to two hours at our farm.

We are open on the 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th, and the 22nd to the 30th of October for our daytime pumpkin picking, giving you plenty of time to explore our fields, choose your pumpkins and take part in our other fun activities. Our popular Pumpkin Nights are open from the 22nd to the 24th, and the 30th of October.
